For your landing page project

Hi, this is what your
project could look like.

You have a direct sales landing page that is not performing to its potential and want the whole chain: find the leaks, redesign, rebuild, then measure. Below is a working sample of the build part and an example of the audit, made for your brief before applying.

Fictional product Brewline, example audit on a typical direct sales page. No client data used.

What you asked for.

1 · The prototype, live in code.

Pick a traffic source. The page inside the phone reloads with the matching UTM parameters and rewrites its headline, subline and button. Tap the buttons inside the phone to see the tracking events.

URL parameters?

Tracking events (data layer, placeholders only)

  • Google Tag Manager: container slot GTM XXXXXXX, loaded async
  • GA4: measurement ID placeholder, events through the data layer
  • Clarity or Hotjar: placeholder, switched on with your project ID
  • Events: variant_view, cta_click, form_start, form_submit, scroll_50, scroll_90

No real tracker is called in this sample. On your page the same events go into your own GTM container. Open the demo full screen

2 · CRO audit sample.

The format of the audit you would receive, shown here on a typical direct sales page. On your project every finding comes from your GA4, heatmap and recording data, ranked by expected impact.

Message match#1High impact

The ad promise is not on the screen

What I see
Meta and Google visitors land on the same generic headline. The offer they clicked on (price, free shipping, the specific benefit) appears only after two scrolls.
Why it costs
Visitors decide in a few seconds whether they are in the right place. A mismatch between ad and page is the most common reason for a fast bounce.
Fix
Dynamic headline, subline and CTA per traffic source via UTM parameters, as in the demo above. The clicked promise is the first thing people read.
Measure
Bounce rate and scroll to 25 % per utm_source, before and after.
Mobile#2High impact

The first screen on a phone has no button

What I see
On a 390 pixel wide screen, hero image and logo bar push the main CTA below the fold. Most paid social traffic is mobile.
Why it costs
If the next step is not visible, many visitors never look for it.
Fix
Mobile first hero: headline, one proof line, price and CTA within the first screen; a sticky CTA bar after the first scroll.
Measure
CTA click rate on mobile, heatmap of first screen taps.
Speed#3High impact

Heavy page on mobile networks

What I see
Large uncompressed hero video, three tracking scripts loaded synchronously, web fonts blocking rendering. Lighthouse mobile performance in the 40s.
Why it costs
Paid clicks that wait for a blank page are paid for and lost.
Fix
Compressed media with poster frames, tags through one GTM container loaded async, font display swap. Target Lighthouse 95 plus.
Measure
Lighthouse and Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP) per release; landing page views vs link clicks in Meta.
Proof#4Medium impact

Reviews exist, but sit at the very bottom

What I see
Real customer reviews and a guarantee are only in the footer area. The hero relies on adjectives.
Why it costs
Doubt peaks right before the click. Proof placed far away from the CTA does not answer it.
Fix
One short proof line under the headline, review snippets next to each CTA, guarantee repeated at the order form. Only real, approved reviews.
Measure
Click map around CTAs, form starts per session.
Form#5Medium impact

Seven fields for a first step

What I see
The order or lead form asks for phone, address and company before showing the price summary.
Why it costs
Every extra field is a reason to stop. People commit more easily to a small first step.
Fix
Two step form: email and choice first, details second, with a progress hint and inline validation.
Measure
Form start to submit rate, field drop off in Clarity or Hotjar recordings.
Measurement#6Medium impact

Conversions are counted twice or not at all

What I see
Purchase fires on page load of the thank you page and again on refresh; Google Ads and GA4 report different totals.
Why it costs
Optimisation decisions on wrong numbers. Ad platforms learn from noise.
Fix
GTM data layer with clear events (cta_click, form_start, form_submit, purchase) and a transaction id to remove duplicates.
Measure
GA4 conversions within 5 % of backend orders over 7 days.

How we would work.

Audit

I read your GA4 funnel, heatmaps, recordings and scroll depth, and compare headline, offer and proof with your Meta and Google ads. You get a ranked list of leaks with the expected impact, like the sample above, on your real data.

Redesign as a clickable live prototype

Mobile first, behaviour driven layout and tightened direct response copy, built straight in code. You review it on your own phone at real speed, comment, and we do up to two rounds.

Build and measure

The approved prototype becomes the live page: Lighthouse 95 plus, GTM with GA4 events, Clarity or Hotjar, and dynamic text for Meta and Google traffic. You get a short handover note on what to watch in the first two weeks.

One package, one price.

What you get
  • Conversion audit on your data, ranked by expected impact
  • Mobile first redesign as a clickable live prototype
  • Rewritten headlines, hooks and CTAs in direct response style
  • Fast build, Lighthouse 95 plus, live on your domain
  • GTM with GA4 events, Clarity or Hotjar, dynamic text for Meta and Google
  • Two revision rounds and a short handover note
Fixed price
$1,020

Live within 7 to 10 days after access, two revision rounds included.

I work with AI tools, which is why the project is fast and costs less than a classic agency. Every decision is checked by me. I am an Austrian freelancer working Central European business hours.

Questions you might have.

Do you work in Figma?

I design directly as a clickable live prototype in code, so you review the real page at real speed on your phone instead of static frames, and nothing gets lost between design and build. If a Figma file is a hard requirement on your side, please tell me before we start so we can agree on it.

Which platform will the page run on?

By default I build lightweight custom code and host it on Vercel or on your existing hosting, which is the fastest option. Your platform of choice can be discussed when we look at your setup.

What access do you need?

Read access to GA4, your heatmap tool (Hotjar or Clarity), Google Tag Manager and the current page, plus a look at the live Meta and Google ads that send traffic. No passwords by chat; shared access through each tool is enough.

Can you show before and after numbers from other clients?

This page is a sample built for your brief, with a fictional product. I do not show invented case numbers. What I can promise is a ranked audit on your data and a measurement setup that shows clearly whether the new page beats the old one.

How does the dynamic text work?

The page reads the UTM parameters of each visit and swaps headline, subline and button text, for example a feed style promise for Meta and an intent focused promise for Google. Keywords are cleaned before display and there is always a safe default.

How do you use AI?

For research, copy variants and first drafts, which keeps the project fast and the price low. Every line, design decision and tracking event is checked by me before you see it.
